A closer look at our flagship program areas, each designed to address specific community needs.
In May 2020, when the devastating Cyclone Amphan struck, our teams were among the first on the ground. Led by Maulana Taqi Naqvi, we assessed damage to over 1 million homes and vast agricultural lands. We provided immediate aid—food, shelter, and medical supplies—to thousands of families, including nearly a hundred مستبصر families in East Medinipur, and initiated long-term rehabilitation projects to help rebuild the community from the ground up.
During the pandemic’s peak, our volunteers worked tirelessly. We launched a massive interfaith sanitization campaign, disinfecting over 200 public spaces, including mosques, temples, Gurdwaras, and police stations. This initiative was widely covered by national newspapers like ‘Rashtriya Sahara’ and praised as a powerful symbol of unity and social responsibility in a time of crisis
Each year, we establish cultural and service Mawkibs (booths) for the pilgrims of Arbaeen. These centers offer more than just physical rest; they are hubs of knowledge and spirituality. We distribute thousands of books, answer religious queries, and hold sessions to explain the philosophy of Imam Hussain’s (AS) stand, enriching the journey of the Zaireen.
Believing that knowledge is the key to empowerment, we have undertaken a massive project to support and establish libraries in underserved communities. To date, we have equipped over 40 libraries and donated more than 50,000 books, creating accessible centers for learning, research, and cultural preservation for future generations.
We provide comprehensive support to over 1,000 scholars and مبلغین (preachers) annually. This includes facilitating their travel for educational purposes, providing scholarships for higher studies, and supporting the translation of key Islamic texts into 8 local languages. This investment ensures that authentic Islamic knowledge continues to flourish and spread.
